Yuu Baal Espadin Jovan is made from farm grown agave Espadin, and it is soft up front followed by a refreshing but vigorous intensity. Chile and mango on the nose, mild tropical fruits, spice and green chile flavors on the palate, and a long finish. An excellent value Mezcal.

(85% from Vaumuriens-Haut and 15% from En Chiveau). This is quite firmly reduced and while the underlying fruit appears to be ripe it’s difficult to read in this condition. Otherwise there is excellent punch to the chalky- textured and muscular medium weight flavors that conclude in a sleek, chiseled, linear and youthfully austere finish. This is an excellent Pommard villages with fine aging potential.

Gracias a Dios Espadin is made from 8-year-grown Espadin, double distilled, and aged 4 months in American oak. It has a slight smokiness and subtle spiciness, with citrus and sweet fruit notes and a dry, spicy finish. 45%abv

Hand-crafted in the village of Santa Catarina Minas from a palenque with a long view of the flat, open, treelined valley. Agave: Espadin. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in ancestral ancestral clay stills with bamboo tubing. A nose of granite and fig, palate of citrus, honey and green herbs. ABV 50. - Producers Notes

Banhez Mezcal is produced by a co-op comprised of families from various villages in the Ejutla district of Oaxaca. They produce mezcal the same way it's been done by their ancestors for nearly two centuries.

Comprised of 90% Espadin and 10% Barril agaves, this mezcal is pleasingly mild, floral and fruity with notes of pineapple, banana. 47%abv

Virginia distiller A. Smith Bowman finishes its bourbon in a variety of port barrels from across Virginia and from Portugal for between three to six months, before blending them to create Isaac Bowman Port Barrel Finished Bourbon. Flavor is bold and sweet with the toasty oak notes rounding out to a long smooth finish that pleasantly lingers on the palate. 46%abv. 92pts - Wine Advocate

Utah’s first distillery since the 1870's, High West Distiller is located in the Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains in Old Town Park City, Utah. Rich and earthy on the palate with balanced flavors of candy corn, honey and sweet corn bread. Finishes with vanilla with a hint of caramel apple. 46%abv

Wolffer Estate Pink Gin is a "rose" gin from Long Island's premier rose wine producer. The color is a light shiny bright pink. A playful fruit character is enhanced by juniper aromas and a blend botanicals including anise, fennel, coriander, cumin, and cardamom. The mouth feel is smooth and clean with a hint of spiciness. The finish is long, with a classic, lush alcoholic warmth. 40%abv

Takamine Koji Whiskey is made with the patented Takamine Process, which uses an ancient Japanese mold, koji, to convert starches to sugars in a process similar to malting barley.

Unlike malt whiskey where sugars are extracted in a warm water mash before yeast is introduced to start the fermentation, both the koji and yeast are active at the same time in a multiple parallel fermentation. This 100% barley ferment is then double distilled and aged in virgin oak and ex-Bourbon casks.

The 2014 ??nico was produced with grapes from 40 hectares of vines selected from the 210 hectares the winery has. The grapes were picked between September 20th and October 3rd, and the blend was 94% Tinto Fino and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. It fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts, with malolactic in stainless steel. The first part of the aging was in 225-liter barrels and the second one in 20,000-liter oak vats, and the ??levage lasts 10 years between oak and bottle. It's a year that combines power and elegance; it's concentrated but has subtleness. I had a unique opportunity to taste it from magnum one year ago and was truly impressed. This tasting was consistent with those sensations. 2014 was a good vintage in the zone, a year with good rain and a big crop, not as powerful as 2012 or 2015 but a year with finesse. The wine feels very balanced, lower in alcohol and with integrated oak, crunchy, fresh and still young. It feels quite classical; it's fine-boned, elegant but also powerful, more like the ??nicos from yesteryear. It has to be one of the finest vintages of recent times. It has 14% alcohol, a pH of 3.85 and five grams of acidity measured in tartaric acid per liter of wine. One of the largest vintages of ??nico, 104,606 bottles, 3,612 magnums, 356 double magnums, 50 imperials and five Salmanazars were produced. It was bottled in June 2020. It seems like years ending in four?????94, 2004, 2014 (but not 84, that was not produced)?????are very good here. We'll have to wait and see about the 2024...

Fundador Brandy, by Pedro Domecq is made at the oldest bodega in Jerez, dating back to the 1730s. It is aged using the traditional Solera system in used sherry barrels which give it its dark golden color. Slightly sweet, this brandy is well-priced considering its refinement.

Lepanto is the only brandy to be distilled in the city of Jerez. Established in 1886, the company's brandies are all made from Palomino grapes and aged for 15 years, the difference being the cask used. This Solera Gran Reserva is matured in Oloroso Viejo (old) casks, resulting iin a dry and elegant delicious brandy.

Lepanto OV shows an intense amber color with dark copper tones. On the nose, complex aromas with hints of nuts, spices and mature wood. The palate is intense and extremely dry while maintaining an elegant smoothness.

Los Amantes mezcal is an artisanal spirit made from 100% agave grown in Oaxaca [wah-ha-cah], Mexico's premium mezcal region. Los Amantes translates to The Lovers and It is considered by some to be one of the best mezcals from Oaxaca. The nose has light cucumber aromas and a salty, citrus fruit quality. The palate is complex with fresh citrus notes and a delicate smokiness. 40%abv

One of the best known sherry bombs, the Aberlour A?????bunadh. From Gaelic, a?????bunadh means "(of) the origin", or "the original", and is meant to honor an earlier style of whisky making at the Speyside distillery Aberlour. Bottled at cask strength, slowly matured in rare Oloroso sherry butts, this malt is full of rich, smooth, complex flavors. 60.7%abv - Rich Fruit and Spice - "Brave the cask-strength heat and be rewarded by a malt that's welcoming and complex. Sherry and cherry dominate at first, but a cereal-granola-honey quality and a licorice note flirt from behind the curtain. The essential candy element returns on the finish." Wine Spectator
