The darkest and most intense whisky in their extra-matured range, Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban has spent 10 years maturing in American white oak casks, before being transferred into ruby port pipes from the Quintas or wine estates of Portugal. Extra maturation in these port pipes creates a complex balance of sweet and dry flavors and an intriguing contrast of smooth and crisp, cooling textures. Non chill-filtered for additional aroma and mouthfeel. Nose: dark mint chocolate, tangerines and Seville oranges mingle with sandalwood and walnut before giving way to a spicy finish of pepper and nutmeg. Palate: mint chocolate and walnuts envelop the palate like velvet, with additional notes of sweet Seville oranges. Finish: long-lasting silky aftertaste leaving dark chocolate mints and traces of orange. 46% abv - Rich Fruit and Spice -

A Glenrothes 12 Year Old in classic style: fruity and sweet. Aged solely in sherry-seasoned casks, this Speyside whisky has notes of vanilla, melon, banana and cinnamon.

Hendrick’s is a fine and unique gin well known for its pronounced cucumber aroma and flavor notes. There are eleven botanicals in all used in the formulation, lending complexity and balance. An excellent martini gin. 44% abv

Hendrick's Neptunia Gin is a limited release that combines the classic cucumber and rose petal notes with what the distiller calls "coastal" botanicals. Hendrick's doesn't specify what these are but they do lend an enhanced palate complexity along with a very smooth citrus finish. 43.4%abv

Color: Glowing amber. Aroma: Heather-honey sweetness; peaty smokiness. Taste: Rounded smoky sweetness, full malt delivery. Finish: Teasing, heathery, delicious. 40% abv - Maritime and Smokey -

"Highland Park 12 Year Old boasts individuality and complexity, thanks in part to the use of Orcadian peat in the distillery floor maltings and the employment of ex-sherry casks for maturation. The nose is fragrant and floral, with hints of heather and some spice. Smooth and honeyed on the palate, with citrus fruits, malt, and distinctive tones of wood smoke in the warm, lengthy, slightly peaty finish." Whisky Advocate

"The sherry is very dominant and cloying, which is unfortunate. And I'm not crazy about the quality of the sherry (or perhaps even the wood it was aged in). I have great respect for both Highland Park and Binny's, but this is somewhat disappointing for a Highland Park." Whisky Advocate, 55% abv

"Lagavulin is a classic example of how smoke isn't a blunt instrument that covers everything in a fog, but an element that works with all the flavours produced in distillation and maturation. Lagavulin isn't 'smokey,' its peat moves into a weird territory of Lapsang Souchong tea and pipe tobacco, fishboxes and kippers. It smells of laurel and light cereal, but is always sweet.
