One of the best known sherry bombs, the Aberlour A?????bunadh. From Gaelic, a?????bunadh means "(of) the origin", or "the original", and is meant to honor an earlier style of whisky making at the Speyside distillery Aberlour. Bottled at cask strength, slowly matured in rare Oloroso sherry butts, this malt is full of rich, smooth, complex flavors. 60.7%abv - Rich Fruit and Spice - "Brave the cask-strength heat and be rewarded by a malt that's welcoming and complex. Nose: Rounded and subtly smoky (applewood), with creamy toffee, aniseed and dates. A curious suggestion of juicy fruits, such as peach and banana. With a drop of water, reminders of Ardbeg?????s classic fragrance: lime, pine resin, fennel, saddle soap and tar. Palate: A smooth, creamy texture leads into a huge syrupy sweetness, flavours of aniseed, orange and smoky tea leaves. Gentle, sweet spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), some cigar smoke, and a very unusual flavour of grilled artichokes. Long and sweet, with floral overtones and malty, biscuit notes. This whisky was matured exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak. The whisky absorbs predominantly vanilla, caramel and coconut notes from the casks along with the oak spice. 40% abv - Fresh Fruit and Vanilla -

Long, sweet and smooth with a hint of spice on the finish.
