The cognac house Chateau de Montifaud has been in the Vallet family for six generations, since 1866. With their Vieux Rouge Pineau des Charentes, the Colombard grape provides persistence and delicate fruitiness and Ugni-Blanc provides finesse, elegance and a slight acidity. The marriage of these two grape varieties lends a perfect balance to the palate, with aromas of dried fruits and almond that mingle with notes of honey.

Distilled Dry Gin Bacur owes its unique character to the botanicals used to produce it. Juniper berries, sage leaves and lemon zest are left to macerate in a solution of water and alcohol for a long time; after that, double distillation takes place, clearing the liquid from possible unwanted hints and leading to an elegant distillate with a fine, clean bouquet. Nose: Intensely, and sweetly camphorous with slight vanilla nuance. While piercing and medicinal at first, heavier herbal notes and a hint of spice give it some roundness and depth.

Flavor: Extraordinarily loud and pronounced - an absolutely vivid palate. Sweet, cooling vanilla kissed mint eases into strong sage, basil leaf, camphor - suggestive of herbes de provence.
