Winemaker Notes:
Our Sauvignon Blanc opens with vibrant aromas of grapefruit and lemon with subtle grassy characters and a crisp clean finish. This wine is a fine accompaniment to shellfish or on its own after a long day.

The delightful one liter bottle has only 12% abv. There is no malolactic fermentation. This is a crisp, refreshing Gruner Veltliner with notes of herbs, minerals, citrus, stone fruits, and excellent acidity.

Hints of lanolin, waxy green-apple skin and lime peel add depth to the pear, melon rind and honeycomb core of this delicious white wine. It’s light, refreshing and balanced, with zingy lime-juice acidity adding verve to the palate while accents of sweet grass and green fig dance on the finish.

"The 2004 Dalmau Reserva is sourced from a single 50+ year old plot within the 300 hectare Ygay estate. Made from a blend of 86% Tempranillo, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Graciano, the wine was aged for 21 months in new French barriques. Dark ruby/purple-colored, it reveals an aromatic array of toasty new oak, spice box, mineral, blueberry, and black currants. Considerably more powerful than its traditionally made siblings, on the palate if is full-bodied, firm, layered, and quite concentrated. The spicy flavors fall on the dark side of the spectrum with blackberry, plum, and black currant in the forefront. The wine has at least a decade of aging potential and will be at its peak from 2015 to 2030 although it can be enjoyed now with a charcoal-grilled ribeye."

Spicy oak to the black berries, blueberries and plums. Pretty fluid despite the medium to full body with nicely chewy tannins. Fine-grained, structured and long.

Succulent, fleshy peach and nectarine flavors are accented by Key lime, mango and ruby grapefruit notes. Shows nice intensity on the long, expressive finish.

The 2005 is bottled and made in a rich yet elegant style, with loamy currant, spice and dried berry with a touch of cedary oak and a hint of graphite. It?€?s very tight and young now, but well-balanced and fairly typical of the 2005 vintage for Napa Cabernet. - WS

In most cases, wines with gimmicky names like Nat Cool are a turnoff. They reek of marketing, more than careful winemaking. But Dirk Niepoort is a visionary producer, so don’t look at the label, just drink. This is a delicious thirst quencher made of the baga grape, not complex. It’s easygoing and low in alcohol at 12 percent, with aromas and flavors of flowers and earthy red fruit. And it comes in a liter bottle.

Very light in color, the 2021 vintage of this wine offers a frank and expressive aromatic profile full of freshness and floral notes. It showcases the character of the Baga grape variety and Bairrada region superbly, with beautiful aromas of strawberries, dried roses and some spice. The wines minerality is reminiscent of the vines calcareous soils and unmistakable Atlantic climate. Fresh, direct and very seductive, this wine is light on its feet and so easy to drink, it will entice you to have another glass. The baga vineyards are farmed organically and are located in Bairrada. All work is done by hand. Soil is calcareous clay. They utilize natural fermentation with wild yeast. No sulphur is added. 11% abv

This is a concentrated wine that has fine tannins that are integrated with the ripe blackberry flavor. It is rich and dense in feel, with a succulent texture. A fruity blend of four varieties, including the rare Caladoc, the wine is lightly structured with spice and tannins to support the red-berry fruits. Drink now.

Classic fermentation method with destemming and pre fermentative skin contact followed of the application of dry yeasts. Fermentation up to 30º C in the first 2/3, and lowering down to 20º C during the last 1/3. During the whole fermentative process, pumping over 2 times per day, using each time half of the volume contained in the vat. After the alcoholic fermentation, the cap is plunged for 30 days, and during that period, extraction of the gentle tannins is conducted, along with the malolactic fermentation and the natural stabilization of the wine.

Wine is aged in French oak barrels from Seguin Moreau of 225 Lt for 3 months.

The Clássico Branco is made from 50% Antão Vaz, 40% Roupeiro, and 10% Fernão Pires grown in the schist soils of the Alentejano. The wine is medium bodied with a broad, integrated acidity. Flavors of ripe apple skin, meyer lemon and a distinct, spicy minerality flow across the palate. Enjoy with oily fishes or braised vegetables.

A light, delicate pink hue with a lively effervescent palate. Fruit forward and delicious without being sweet.

This Washington Merlot opens with a beautifully knit blackberry, cherry and spice-scented nose with a toasty oak background. Ripe fruit on the palate is complemented by the medium-body and soft, yet present tannins.

Harvested late - in early October when the grapes are especially ripe. Grapes are dried for 15 days - until they lose about 50% of their weight - before pressing. Fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a mix of stainless steel and new and used oak.
