85% Chardonnay; 15% Viognier. La Cova Negra owes its name to the colour of its walls, blackened by the smoke of fires lit by its Stone Age inhabitants. The cave is part of the history of the La Vall dels Alforins terroir, where our vineyards flourish at 500 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Serra Grossa. This sunny area, blessed by gentle breezes blowing in from the Mediterranean Sea, gives the wine its complex, intense and fruity character.
La Cova Negra White is the fruit of the combination of two newcomers to the region, the Chardonnay and Viognier varieties which, when grown in warm regions, produce wines that are ideal for short periods of cask aging, and are sweet, greedy and very easy to drink.
Clean, clear and pale straw-yellow in color with golden hues. Clean and intense on the nose, with predominant stone fruit aromas of apricots and peaches, and notes of white flowers on a subtly roasted, vanilla base. Full, tasty, sweet and fresh on the palate, recalling the fruity and floral sensations encountered on the nose, with a long, pleasant, lingering finish.

PJ Wine offers local delivery, in-store pickup, and shipping where permitted by law.
Orders over $170 before tax, up to 2 cases, qualify for free local delivery in eligible areas. Orders under $170 have a $15 delivery fee.
Store pickup is available at 4898 Broadway, New York, NY 10034. Pickup orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance.
Alcohol deliveries require a valid ID and an adult 21+ signature. Orders cannot be left unattended.

We accept returns or exchanges only for defective wine or spirits within 5 days of purchase with proof of purchase.
To process a return, the bottle must be returned with the remaining contents for verification.
