The I Greppi property is home to two giant lakes surrounded by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines. The shape of those two lakes as seen from overhead are depicted on the front labels of some of these wines. Those twin bodies of water play a big role in moderating the hot temperatures seen on the coast. They tend to favor winds and breezes that are important to vineyard health.
Once harvested, the wine spends a year in barrel followed by 6 months in bottle before release.
