Elegant but full bodied this whisky has spent ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being extra-matured for a further two years in Oloroso and PX Sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion, a reminder not just of the Spanish provenance of these Oloroso sherry butts, but also a reflection of this expression's lusciously soft texture and deep, enticingly sweet aroma.

Nose: Warm spices mix with smooth chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. Palate: Deliciously sweet sherry flavoured sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch combine to create complex warm spices. The darkest and most intense whisky in their extra-matured range, Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban has spent 10 years maturing in American white oak casks, before being transferred into ruby port pipes from the Quintas or wine estates of Portugal. Extra maturation in these port pipes creates a complex balance of sweet and dry flavors and an intriguing contrast of smooth and crisp, cooling textures. Non chill-filtered for additional aroma and mouthfeel. Nose: dark mint chocolate, tangerines and Seville oranges mingle with sandalwood and walnut before giving way to a spicy finish of pepper and nutmeg. Palate: mint chocolate and walnuts envelop the palate like velvet, with additional notes of sweet Seville oranges. Gracias a Dios Tepextate is made with 25-year old wild agave. Tepextate is a wild maguey species known for its spicy, herbal characteristics and complexity. The Gracias a Dios is a lighter style yet still classic Tepextate. 45%abv

While the majority of tequilas in this category are unaged (or aged briefly in stainless steel or in oak then filtered for clarity), this pale golden-hued one, made from 10 year old agave grown in Los Altos, Jalisco, is aged for 28 days in new French Limousin oak barrels - not quite enough time to become a reposado. Flavor contours are smooth and clean with notes of herbs, pepper and earth.

Aged for an average of 20 years in the traditional system of Criaderas y Solera. An intense nose with notes of vanilla and mulch, owing to the brandy's long ageing. A complex palate with a finish that is plump and creamy yet velvety at the same time.
