Founded in 1863, Beefeater is still made in the heart of London. With big juniper character and strong citrus notes, this is a classic London Dry gin that has stood the test of time.

Ten botanicals are used in Bombay Sapphire: almond, lemon peel, liquorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. This gives the gin a more floral aroma and taste than some other gins, while the "vapor infusion" distillation process used by Bombay Sapphire gives it a somewhat lighter, crisper character than other gins. 47%abv

Founded in the 18th century, Boodles is said to have been the favorite gin of Winston Churchill. It uses nine botanicals including, unusually, nutmeg, rosemary and sage. It has a distinctive floral nose and lingering juniper flavor with a clean finish. 45.2%abv

The twelve botanicals in Bulldog Gin are sourced from eight countries. Three of those are unique to Bulldog: Chinese lotus leaves, Turkish white poppy and Chinese dragon eye. This blend helps lend this English gin a supremely smooth and balanced flavor with a crisp finish. 40%abv

The nose is delicately spicy with lots of juniper. Green, piney-juniper, fir branch, with a bit of citrus tinged herbal notes beneath it. Absolutely and powerfully classic with a stunning aromatic profile.

Sipped, Hepple Gin begins with white pine needle, melon, lemon zest and lovage. Mid-palate this is a very classic and clean tasting gin. Hints of fennel seed and celery lead into a finish where subtle licorice backs a crisp juniper-forward finish. A hint of lemon comes through on the end as well.

Oxley Cold Distilled Gin from England uses a total of 14 botanicals: juniper, grapefruit, lemon, oranges, meadowsweet, vanilla, aniseed, orris root, licorice root, cocoa, grains of paradise, cassia bark, nutmeg and coriander. In addition to juniper, there is a nice mix of aniseed, lemon and grapefruit on the palate. Oxley is an easy sipping premium gin. 47%abv

The Nose - floral, summer meadow notes, followed by mellow rounded juniper and zesty, citrus freshness. The Palate - dry juniper leads, then reveals lemon tart & orange marmalade, before all the flavours harmonise. The Finish - dryness leads, with spicy juniper & a hint of lemon tart emerging.

Though the formula is a secret, the botanicals in the perennially popular Tanqueray are thought to be just four: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root and liqourice. The lack of a citrus botanical makes it slightly drier that some other gins. According to company lore, it was Frank Sinatra’s favorite gin.
