Notes of cassis, black cherries, and iron reveal themselves within the velvety texture as it envelops the palate. This is an absolute delight, and rarity, to experience at such a reasonable price.
A quick note about aged wines: As wines rest for years in bottle the solids begin to separate resulting in sediment. This wine is fourteen years old and has a fair amount of sediment, which is perfectly natural, so we recommend a decant to avoid those annoying chewy bits. Enjoy!
