The complexity of the palate smoothly layers rich red currant notes and baking spice flavors with light smoke, earth and leather. A balanced, velvety texture and supple tannins carry the wine through to a lingering, succulent finish."

Pinot Grigio thrives in the Alpine air of northeastern Italy, and this version from Kris is no exception. The expression here is a little on the voluptuous side, with notes of honeysuckle, nectarines and almonds, and a nice citrusy tang on the palate that goes incredibly well with slices of nutty Fontina cheese. -- PJ

"Brut Prestige is Mumm Napa?????s signature sparkling wine. It is a relaxed, yet elegant, wine that earns sparkling accolades from consumers and critics alike. Brut Prestige features fine bright citrus, red apple, stone fruit and creamy vanilla aromas, with hints of toast, honey and gingerbread spice. Its vibrant flavors are balanced by fine acidity and a rich, lingering finish."

The Brut Prestige grapes are harvested by hand during the crisp morning hours to ensure they arrive at the winery in pristine condition. Fermentation is conducted at cool temperatures, mainly in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit intensity. A few selected lots are aged in French oak barrels to add depth, complexity and spiciness to the final blend. After initial fermentation, the art of the blending begins. Our winemakers find the perfect blend of wines to create our signature taste. Then the finished blend is bottled for the second fermentation. An average of 18 months????? yeast aging adds complexity, contributing subtle bread dough flavors and layers of creaminess. The wine is disgorged as a brut style and a dosage is added back to balance the wine?????s acidity. Brut Prestige then ages another 3 months on the cork to fully marry the dosage to the base wine.

A compelling red on a juicy, fresh frame, with smooth, polished tannins and fresh pomegranate and maraschino cherry flavors at the core, showing details of milk chocolate, nutmeg and white peppercorn, plus an appealing hint of toasted herbs and fresh earth. From Negroamaro grapes, with minor additions of Malvasia Nera and Montepulciano. Ruby red wine with garnet effects, intense, full, rich and ethereal scent with hints of blackberry, plum, Mediterranean vegetation, ripe fruit and leather; warm, rich and generous taste, with advanced and complex tones and flavors of almond and blackcurrant.

In the Apulian plain, in the center of the Salento peninsula, between the Ionian and the Adriatic sea, extends the territory of Copertino. On this red soil, vineyards and olive trees harmoniously alternate: century-old twisted trunks of olive trees often introduces the characteristic Apulian shrub-vines that produces this strong and generous wine.

In 1935, thirty-six vine growers founded the Cantina Sociale of Copertino, with the aim of improving the cooperation and the production of their own vineyards and the trade of their wine. Today the cooperative numbers 300 proud members who confer their own harvest. The vine cultivated area extends to around 300 hectares, and all wines are meticulously treated with wisdom, result of tradition and innovation, obtaining excellent wines, able to arouse enthusiasm.

Organic

A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Sangiovese, the 2020 Palazzo della Torre is luscious, dark and exceedingly contemporary in style and execution. This is a soft and well-textured expression with layers of ripe fruit, black cherry, spice, bitter chocolate and tangy Spanish cedar from oak aging. The oak is quite dominate, so be ready for this particular stylistic approach.

Cavicchioli Prosecco should be enjoyed as an aperitif; particularly suitable for appetizers, delicate first courses and fish-based dishes. Serving temperature: chilled to 40°F.

Mas des Capitelles’ workhorse Vieilles Vignes is built on the backs of Mourvèdre (50%) and Carignan (25%) from vines up to 80 years old, with Syrah (25%) completing the blend. After a 30-day maceration with a small proportion of semi-carbonic whole clusters in the fermentation, one-fifth of the cuvée was aged in oak and four-fifths in fiberglass and enamel vats, with bottling taking place after 14 months. An exuberant nose of blueberries, violets, and warm dust evokes the sun-scorched slopes of the appellation in visceral fashion, and the palate sizzles with an almost spiky minerality, framed by rich but firm blue and black fruits. The balance of refinement and wildness here is extraordinary, with neither trait calling too much attention to itself.

Mas des Capitelles began in 1999, when ninth-generation vigneron Jean Laugé began bottling his own wine after a lengthy stint at the local co-operative, where his father's a driving force in the creation of the Faugères appellation in the early 1980's had served as president.

Derived from 100% Pinot Noir from the limestone/clay soils of Sancerre. This wine was vinified in stainless steel and rested on the lees for six months; this adds depth and complexity. This Rose is pale pink in color and is electric on the palate with an almost tonic quality that quenches the thirst and keeps you coming back for more. Aromatically vibrant with elegant notes of wild strawberry and citrus, this is an unbeatable summer sipper.

A pungent and complex wine displaying intense pink grapefruit, white nectarine, passion fruit and guava characters on the nose. The richly-textured palate features grapefruit and tropical characters with an underlying grassy character and minerality, all bound by a crisp acidity that leads to a lingering finish.

Perfect with clams, green-lipped mussels or cold-smoked salmon.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Red Cap is dark and brooding, with a dusty blend of dried strawberries, white pepper and hints of cedar. This flows across the palate with silky textures and ripe red fruits as an acid-driven tension mounts toward the close. Chalky mineral tones and touches of lavender resonate as the 2021 finishes with staining and long.

"Tasted at the Gambero Rosso showcase in London. This has a very clean, but also very subtle nose with touches of greengage and white peach. The palate has lovely balance, an utterly seductive leesy/creamy texture and a smooth finish that leave the palate refreshed and wanting more." 90 pts WA

The 2022 Red Cosecha Senorio de P. Pecina is a blend of 95% Tempranillo, 3% Graciano and 2% Garnacha sourced from the Sonsierra in Rioja Alta. The fragrant blackberry nose also features herbs and balsamic notes, accompanied by hints of menthol, cherry liqueur and a faintly ethereal touch. Dry and grippy on the palate, it flows with a cleansing, juicy finish. This is a new-wave Rioja red.

Pedro Pecina makes this young wine in a traditional unoaked style, although he destems the grapes before fermentation. It's a lot of wine for the price, made from Tempranillo with 5% Garnacha and Graciano and oozing plum and black cherry flavours. Wonderfully vibrant, sappy and alive.

This historic wine of the Veneto region, first made in 1964, is still a classic today. The wine is rich and luscious, with ripe notes of black plum, cherry and blackberry. These fruits are supported by herbal and deep earthy notes. The palate is sumptuous, rich and balances the earth and fruit notes with near perfection. The wine is well structured and overdelivers.

Grapes were selected from a wide variety of our Wairau and Awatere vineyards in Marlborough to ensure a complex and harmonious flavour profile.

It all began in 1943, when Nikola Nobilo, having arrived in New Zealand from Croatia, planted his first vines and began to turn a dream into reality. Combining over 300 years of family winemaking tradition with innovative approaches to winemaking and viticulture, Nikola was an early champion of premium New Zealand varietals. Today, winemaker David Edmonds continues his passion, selecting premium grapes from Nobilo vineyards to craft pure classic wines of distinct regional character. From Marlborough, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and beyond, Nobilo vineyards span New Zealand. Care has been taken to plant vines in the most welcoming spots - valleys with ample sunlight, rolling hills with ideal soil characteristics - ensuring grapes benefit from the best that these wine-growing regions have to offer.

This vibrant, full-bodied red is a blend of grapes harvested in parcels spread amongst the three communes of Barbaresco, Neive and Alba. Included as the primary source are grapes harvested in the cru “Ga’Grosso” in Barbaresco. The grapes are crushed and are then fermented in stainless steel for almost two weeks after which the wine is racked into oak barrels and “botti” for one year prior to bottling. The average age of the vines is 30 years.

A single-vineyard wine made by the winemaking team of Margaux estate Ch??teau Siran, this wine has structure, dense tannins and layer upon layer of black fruits. 2019 was an excellent vintage in Bordeaux.

80% Merlot, 10.5% Petit Verdot, and 9.5% Cabernet Sauvignon. From an eleven hectare single-vineyard plot on the Margaux border. 25 year-old vines planted in a sandy gravel subsoil with clay topsoil. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for twelve months in French oak, with two rackings.

Chateau Siran is a highly regarded Bordeaux producer vinifying wine in Margaux. We have had a vintage or two of their Margaux over the years, but we didn?????t know they produce a second wine named Saint Jaques De Siran. And it is this wine that recently knocked our socks off while tasting through an assortment of French wines. Saint Jacques de Siran is a throwback to the Bordeaux of yesteryear with its oak-influenced characteristics. This is not a new-aged, acid-driven Bordeaux all about upfront juicy fruit. No, this has all those classic notes that made Bordeaux popular in the first place, like cedar, saddle leather, tobacco leaf, and dried fruits. I had a flashback while tasting this that it was the early 2000s and I had Bordeau from the nineties in my glass!

Chateau Siran has long been recognized as one of the top estates in Margaux. The property has been in the Miailhe family for six generations????? a total of 160 years. Today, the property covers 88 hectares, with 38 hectares planted to vines. The other fifty hectares are left as woods and meadows, for their beauty and to promote biodiversity, a priority of the Siran team.

The majority of Chateau Siran?????s vines are planted in the commune of Margaux, but they also have a very special 11 hectare parcel on the border, which is classified as Bordeaux Superieur and bottled as ?????Saint-Jacques de Siran?????. The terroir here has clay topsoil over the famous Bordeaux sandy gravel subsoil. The vines are planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare and average 25 years old. The Miailhe family has practiced sustainable agriculture since 2000 and the vineyards have been certified sustainable, HVE3 since 2018. Only organic fertilizers are used and they work with grass cover and plowing to control weeds

Pale lemon straw with a green hue. Vibrant aromas of fresh lemons and limes, green apple, thai basil and a touch of floral honey. Slides across the palate seamlessly with crisp fresh fruit notes bountiful. Delightfully refreshing.
