Nueva Espana Winemakers

In keeping with the Nueva Espana theme we will be hosting two of Spain's hottest winemakers. German Blanco from Quinta Milu in Ribera del Duero, Casa Aurora in Bierzo and Bicicleta Voladora in Rioja will be in house pouring and discussing his wines. This super talented winemaker is crafting exceptional wines from three very different regions. Although they all do share the same theme, fresh acid driven wines with minimal intervention that are grown responsibly.

As if hosting German Blanco isn't cool enough, Ramon Parera from Alto Penedes will be here! Ramon Parera is half of the dynamic duo behind Celler Pardas, one of Alto Penedes' all star wineries. Ramon is not only at the forefront of biodynamic and organic farming practices but also the varietal revolution happening in Penedes. He is bringing to light the old indegenous varietals of the area like Sumoll, Xarel-lo, and Malvasia de Sitges - truly unique character filled wines!
