Mezcal

Banhez Mezcal is produced by a co-op comprised of families from various villages in the Ejutla district of Oaxaca. They produce mezcal the same way it's been done by their ancestors for nearly two centuries.

Comprised of 90% Espadin and 10% Barril agaves, this mezcal is pleasingly mild, floral and fruity with notes of pineapple, banana. 42%abv

El Silencio Espadin is made with agave Espadin and is handmade in small batches. It is crafted to express extra bold flavors with the intention of creating a mezcal ideal for mixology, able to stand up to creative cocktail ingredients.

Mezcal Verde is an artisanal mezcal with 100% natural fermentation and double distilled that uses a mix of different woods in the cooking process to obtain a smokier profile. They use organic agave. On the palate it is grassy, smokey and fruity. 42%abv

Monte Alban is named for a mountaintop settlement in Oaxaca, Mexico known for its agave plants, both cultivated and wild. The worms lives in the agave plant and are hand-harvested during the rainy summer season. They are stored in mezcal, drained and sorted, and placed in bottles near the end of the process. The worm is what makes mezcal unique; it is added as a reminder that it comes from the plant from which the alcohol is made. Apocryphal legends note that the worm gives strength to anyone brave enough to gulp it down; some even believe it acts as an aphrodisiac. Like the drink itself, the worm is something of an acquired taste.

Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Joven is a unique blend of two sustainably cultivated agaves harvested by hand: Espadin from Oaxaca and Tobala from Puebla. It stands out for its notes of caramel and nuts that contrast with the herbal freshness of the Tobala. 40%abv
