A biodynamically farmed bubbly Rose of Pinot Noir from Austria (how cool is that!?). This dry wine is naturally made, no CO2 added, in tank then bottled. Fresh cherries and strawberries galore with very balanced acidity results in a refreshing springtime quaffer.

100% Grüner Veltliner, grown in loess soils. Just over half of the grapes for this wine come from Silke's family's vineyards; the rest are sourced from neighboring growers in Krems and Dross. This is bottled and made in the shared Buchegger-Mayr winery. Full-bunch pressing; fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures, aged on the lees in tank until February of the following year.

This is a straightforward, spicy Gruner; light in body and fruit-driven, this is a stellar white "table wine", able to pair well with just about anything white wine goes with.

Produced from vines planted well south of the cluster of northern-Thermenregion villages that comprise the majority of their holdings, Stadlmann’s Pinot Noir (called “Blauburgunder” locally) is simultaneously fresh and substantial, offering the textural harmoniousness of their white wines, as well as a lifted and elegant spice character that puts one in the mind of excellent red Burgundy. (After all, it was the Cistercian monks who brought Pinot Noir from Burgundy to the Thermenregion in the late 1100s.) Like the estate’s white wines, this is fermented and aged entirely in large, well-worn oak casks and bottled without fining and with only a gentle filtration. 12.5% abv (Rosenthal Wine Merchant Import)

A clean crisp Gruner Veltliner with lovely notes of lemon zest, apricot and pear. The wine is bright and lively on the palate.

Stadlmann produces a singular riesling that takes advantage of the calcareous soils and temperate climate of the Thermenregion, rendering a classic, flinty expression of the varietal, leading with crisp, ripe green apple and notes of alpine flowers. Fermentation lasts 12 days in stainless steel tanks, with lees ageing for two months. As with all of the wines here, it is produced organically and biodynamically. 12.5% abv (Rosenthal Wine Merchant Import)

The delightful one liter bottle has only 12% abv. There is no malolactic fermentation. This is a crisp, refreshing Gruner Veltliner with notes of herbs, minerals, citrus, stone fruits, and excellent acidity.

Meinklang Farm is a sprawling biodynamic operation in Burgenland, Austria growing grains, vegetables, and a variety of fruit, alongside a herd of cattle. Fusion is a co-fermentation of Gruner Veltliner grapes and Topaz apples. The two blend together into a fun, fizzy, pet-nat. Very refreshing, citrusy, and sharp.

In their modern cellar they craft crisp, clean wines from their 17 hectares of vines, including Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner, the stars of this vineyard, as well as Spätburgunder, Zweigelt, Merlot, Blauburger and Riesling, among others.

This PetNat is a blend of Gr??ner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, and Riesling grapes from the Spielberg vineyard in Austria. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with natural yeasts. The wine is bottled before fermentation is complete, which results in a sparkling wine with a slight fizz.
The wine has a bright yellow color and aromas of freshly squeezed grape juice, fig, and physalis. The flavors are fruity and spicy, with a hint of gooseberry. The wine is dry and has a refreshing acidity.

The Rotes Handgemenge is a blend of Zweigelt and Blaufrankisch. The juiciness of the Zweigelt plays well with the structure of the Blaufrankisch. It's meant to be an easy drinker on days when you don't want to take yourself so seriously. It's bottled unfined and unfiltered. This is opens up with a note of loamy earth, followed by graceful blackberry flavors which decorate the silky texture. It is lighter in body, but never lacking substance.

Light, delicate yellowish green; bold exotic fruit, bananas, Aranzini and a hint of ice candy; the cheeky, reductive note runs through to the exuberantly expressive finish. The wine is self-confident from the start, youthful, playful, open-hearted, with a pleasant acidic freshness. The tomboyish style hides the strain a bit, but at the same time provides verve and drinking animation. Due to its intense fruit, it goes particularly well with strongly spiced dishes. It is an ideal addition to cured, smoked, horseradish meat, but also herring salad, mackerel, sardines, or anything that is heavily smoked
