Because of the terroir and temperature, they are able to grow varietals that thrive in a Continental climate, such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.

In 2018, the estate received the Vignerons Developpement Durable certification in recognition of their commitment to sustainable winegrowing.

Although the Isle Saint Pierre wines come from the very southern stretches of France, they display wonderful freshness and aromatic appeal. At harvest, as soon as the grapes enter the cellar, they are cooled to a temperature below 16??C.

Winemaker Notes:
Green apple and pear aromas classically characterize this wine as Clarksburg, while honeycomb and vanilla heighten the first impression. The rich, round entry rolls into a viscous and silky mouthfeel, surrounded by Asian pears and Honey crisp apples. The finish lingers long and soft, like the wafting aromas of grandma’s warm apple pie.

Succulent, fleshy peach and nectarine flavors are accented by Key lime, mango and ruby grapefruit notes. Shows nice intensity on the long, expressive finish.

A versatile, young red wine with a ruby red color and a bouquet characterized by inviting aromas of black cherry pie, black berries, thyme, red pepper grains and exotic spices. The taste is medium-bodied, fruity and smooth with a long lingering, dry finish, reminiscent of undergrowth, with an underlying hint of menthol. Petite Sirah is known for its concentration and intensity, the 2015 vintage is no exception. Inky purple in the glass, this deeply colored wine resonates with juicy blueberries and hints of freshly turned earth. Aging in American oak for 12 months captures and concentrates the flavors, leading to a finish with chalky and chewy tannins laced with vanilla, toasted brown sugar and dark cocoa.

The Guilhem is airy and breezy, with the grace that makes it a real charmer. This pale-colored, beautifully textured Rosé is impeccable in its balance. Pretty floral notes fill out the mid-palate effortlessly. Despite its light color, the 2022 offers plenty of depth and tons of stylish appeal.

The original. Medium-bodied with black cherry, cola, strawberry, plum, and soft tannins. No wonder this Pinot is a favorite.

Very dark on the nose, with lots of raw spices, charcoal and some green peppercorns on top of the blackberries. Very full-bodied and spicy. Almost a bit monolithic, despite the fine-grained tannins. Quite a unique style

Bodegas Anaia is equipped with world-class innovative high-technology, their concrete fermentation vats, without epoxy, called Mates. Each ca hold 9,600 liters (2500 gallons), for the wine’s fermentation and aging, with a unique tilting system, powered by hydraulics to assure smooth controlled, and even contact between grape solids (cap) and liquids. The main purpose is not to stress the wine by pumping it up preserving its unique natural aromas.

The plantation is at an altitude of 960 meters above sea level, (3,150 feet) stretching over the coolest area of Agrelo, Argentina.
