The wine is fresh and has a profile similar to the young and juicy Crianza, with good ripeness and a solid palate. It matured in second use 300-liter oak barrels for six months. Urrutia mentioned cheerful and barbecue when talking about this wine. Very good at that.

The 2022 Lagrimas de Bhilar Graciano managed to keep the moderate alcohol and freshness in a warm year like 2022. It was produced with grapes from younger vineyards, fermented in concrete and matured in 8,000-liter oak vat. It's aromatic, herbal, spicy and minty, very showy, juicy and with a soft mouthfeel. Delicious and easy to drink. 10,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023.

La Unión comes from a single parcel in the La Unión village in Rioja that feautres a mixture of red and white clay with sandy soils. All grapes are hand-harvested from vines that average 25 years of age. A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano that is fermented with native yeasts in concrete tanks and aged for 12 months in barrel. Expressive aromas of blackberry, red currants and violets with a fine, silky palate and long, polished finish, enjoy this striking Rioja with grilled lamb chops.

Normal MSRP is $12.99. Very bright strawberry-red colour, sweet sensations that remind of strawberry candy. Good balance of red fruit with floral aromas. In the mouth, it's tasty, with a fruity character. A well-balanced acidity which provides freshness and full-bodied. A very versatile wine ideal to be served with appetizers, pasta, vegetables, blue fish and light meats. Ideal temperature 8-10ºC. - Winemaker notes
We harvested our carefully selected Tempranillo grapes at optimum ripeness to achieve a high level of aromatic extraction and a good concentration. The grapes are kept in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature to prevent the start of fermentation. The juice is removed from the solids after around 24 to 48 hours, once we have determined that the colour is the pink we require. The fermentation is then carried out without the presence of seeds or skins at a controlled temperature of 16º to 18ºC for around 8 days to obtain the required fruit levels in the wine. 13.5% abv
