The wineries vineyards are on an island in the middle of the Rhone river, how cool is that? The main varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Carmenere, and Arinarnoa (a cross between Merlot and Petit Verdot). The ros?? harvest undergoes a short skin maceration with complete control of process timing, producing a ros?? exclusively from free-run juice.

"Founded in 1927, Domaine Isle Saint Pierre is located on a small island in the Rhone River. It is run today by fourth generation vigneron Julien Henry.

The proximity to the water provides a cooling influence that allows the wines to retain great freshness even in the far south of France, and deep well-draining sedimentary soils comprised of sand and silt.

Because of the terroir and temperature, they are able to grow varietals that thrive in a Continental climate, such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.

In 2018, the estate received the Vignerons Developpement Durable certification in recognition of their commitment to sustainable winegrowing.

Although the Isle Saint Pierre wines come from the very southern stretches of France, they display wonderful freshness and aromatic appeal. At harvest, as soon as the grapes enter the cellar, they are cooled to a temperature below 16??C.

ripe, vibrant and structured. Spiced red fruit and almonds rush across the palate, supported by energetic acidity and a bit of grip that pleasantly tugs at the cheeks. This is a fine example of classically styled Provenal Rose.

This charming Provencal red blend from Domaine Sulauze is the ultimate gulpable red! In opposition to waste, Sulauze uses the fruit from the press of the Pomponette Rose to make this Provencal quaffer. In 2015, chateau owner Bertrand Gourdou was searching through an old desk when he came across a label that his grandfather had made in the early 1970s; that wine was called Le pot-de-vin, which, in French, translates to {the bribe}, which for that era was an audacious play on words for a wine label! This label inspired Bertrand to make a simple, natural wine: biodynamically grown fruit, fermented with native yeast and with a negligible dose of SO2, made in concrete tanks built by his grandfather. The word "pot" also references the old-style bottle shape.

The rouge is 100% Merlot from the IGP Pays d"Oc, made with no oak in a light-to-medium-bodied style with gloriously fruit, freshness and length. It is, simply put, the quintessential French bistro red.
