"One of the finest Balvenie 15 year olds I've tasted. The flavors are clean, well defined, confident, and beautifully balanced. Full malty foundation (with some ripe barley thrown in). Soft, creamy vanilla, honeycomb, bright fruit (orange, nectarine, lemon peel, hints of pineapple), with emerging dried vanilla, coconut, oak resin, and subtle anise. Polished oak finish. Speyside whiskies are known to be fruity and floral, but as the bad boy of Speyside, Craigellachie defies with its oil fired, rich character. Craigellachie 13 is matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The bourbon casks bring vanilla, toffee and fudge notes to the fore, and the sherry casks provide richness and complexity.

Nose: Fresh sherry embraces the maltier, more honeyed aspects of Dalwhinnie. Peaty and surprisingly, still heathery. Spicy yet grapy. Palate: A big, spicy buzz followed by an impressive build-up of very clear, well defined Scotch. After a quick burst of sweetness, a rich, grape effect moves in towards the middle. Finish: Tons of oak. Very, very dry with vanilla dominating. The perfect dram for those in search of a very dry malt finish. (Producer's Note) - Malt and Honey -

Speyside, Scotland- Straw gold color. Sherry-sweet malty aromas combine with a light smokiness and subtle spice. Delicately light, sweet and malty, with hints of biscuits and cream and peaty notes. Leaves a long, slightly spicy finish with a lingering smokiness.

Vibrant amber-gold. The nose is fresh and beautifully light, sherried fruit combined with a tempting spicy sweetness and a int of sappy oak. The palate is full-bodied with a delightfully sherried fruit, oak and delicious sweet sensations. The finish is long and flavorsome, with a lingering spiciness.
