Vermouth

Carpano is the oldest brand of Vermouth and was the first Vermouth, invented in 1786 in Turin by Antonio Benedetto Carpano. The Antica Formula 1 was created shortly after. Flavorings include vanilla from Madagascar, Tahiti and Papua New Guinea, Iranian saffron and wormwood the Italian mountains. It has a bouquet and palate of dried fruit, spices, vanilla, raisin and cloves. 16.5%abv

Among the botanicals in the Antica Torino Dry are wormwood, yarrow muscat, centaurea, hyssop, thistle, cinnamon, coriander, and sage, expertly balancing both mountain and garden herbs. The base is Cortese DOC wine from Piedmont that renders a particularly elegant, floral, and vinous vermouth. Enjoy Antica Torino Dry on the rocks with a twist of lemon or in classics such as an Old Pal or a Perfect Rob Roy. 18% abv

Italy- Sweet and bitter with a hint of rust on the nose. The taste is initially light and sugary, in stark contrast to Cynar's dark color. The herbal/vegetal qualities really shine through on the palate. The finish is bitter, akin to a light espresso finish.

Vermouth Routin Dry is made from 17 plants, flowers and spices and a subtle blend of French white wine of Sauvignon grape and regional wine of vineyard Jacqu?re. Its unique bouquet, its subtle dry taste, and its slightly golden color, give it its distinctive character. Rose petals, juniper, rosemary, wormwood, and bitter almond are the principle flavor components, besides fine French wine. 16.9%abv

Vermut Blanco is made from Fino and Moscatel sherries. Fino gives dry minerality and almond characteristics, with moscatel imparting a sweet, yet floral, citrus peel finish. The result is a light and refreshing vermouth, bright golden yellow, with a markedly bitter end. Each of the 9 botanicals (most notably chamomile and gentian) are macerated separately then combined and added to the sherry. Delicious on its own and in cocktails. 15% abv

France- 2011 Gold Medal Winner of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Lillet Rose has light aromas of berries, orange blossom, and grapefruit while the taste is fresh, lively, and fruity.

Named for the iconic 19th century bartender and cocktail pioneer Jerry Thomas, known as "The Professor," Del Professore is produced at the Antica Distilleria Quaglia in the hills between Monferrato and Turin. The vermouth is made from wine from the Langhe with a herbal mixture that includes wormwood, mint, rhubarb, cloves and mace. It is soft and full on the palate, with an excellent balance of alcohol and sugar and a pleasantly bitter and smooth finish of rhubarb, anise and earth notes. 18%abv

Antico Torino Rosso is a sweet vermouth inspired by the traditional recipes of the Piedmont region. Antico uses only local wines such as Trebbiano, Freisa, and Moscato and local botanicals such as wormwood, rhubarb, gentian, vanilla bean, rosemary, thyme, oregano and ginger. This rosso vermouth is robust enough for classic cocktails such as Negronis and Manhattans but is not cloying, instead lending fruit tones of orange and lime balanced by stemmy herbs with a lightly smoky, bright bitter finish. 18%abv
