Guiseppe Mascarello Freisa Toetto 2020

The fruit comes from the Toetto vineyard in the village of Castiglione Falletto, which is very close to the famed Monprivato vineyard. This is a cheerful wine made from a grape that is little-known outside its native home but that is much loved locally. Beautiful wild cherry, flowers and hints of white pepper entice the palate. Fresh acidity equals a brightness that allows this wine to be enjoyed in it?€?s youth. The wine is matured in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 15 months. Only 425 cases were produced.
