There is a big jump in quality in the 2019 O Esteiro when compared with the 2018 that I tasted next to it. There is an extra layer of texture and depth here. 2019 was a fantastic vintage for reds at this address. It's always more or less the same blend of Menc??a, Ca????o and Espadeiro defined by the vineyards they use. It's produced in a simple way and is a very good reflection of the varieties, the granite soils and the character of the vintage; this vintage is warmer, riper and more complete, with more black peppercorn. It has 11% alcohol.
Albamar is located on the northwestern coast of Spain where the wines are heavily influenced by the atlantic ocean.
