The 2021 Il Ros di Casanova is lovely with a bouquet thats more savory than sweet, mixing crushed rocks with white strawberries and peach skins. While soothingly soft, theres a salty core of minerality and vibrant acidity that creates a juicy and energetic expression, further accentuated by hints of sour melon. The 2021 tapers off remarkably fresh with a candied citrus twang and leaves the mouth watering for more. The Il Ros di Casanova is an equal-parts blend of Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile.

Il Rose is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile. The six hectare vineyard sits at about 300 meters above sea level and enjoys southern exposure. The wine has a salmon color, petal like with orange reflections. On the nose, aromas of sliced peaches, flowers, stones and chalk very complex with full body and round yet agile and dynamic intensity, salty, linear, energetic backbone of acidity, great structure and lovely finish.
Serve with poultry, fish and any type of appetizer.
