Garage Wine Co. Pais Blanco The Phoenix Ferment 2017

2017 was a tough year when fires raged in Chile among the vineyards. Many of the old vineyards survived when they acted as fire streets and, in order not to risk the wines smelling smoke, this wine was made without skin contact. The wine was a success and therefore one will continue to make this unique "blanco de tinto". (white wine of red grapes). To imitate the bird Phoenix from the mythology, this wine was renamed Phoenix Ferment. One can literally say that this wine originated from the ashes of the terrible fires.

Delicious white wine with a slightly oily texture, notes of honeysuckle and marmalade.
