This is a supple and intense Pinot Noir has black raspberry and red cherry plus streaks of herbs highlighting the elegant yet powerful nose. Bold flavors of strawberry and Bing cherry dominate the palate and are deftly hewn to graphite flavors which dissolve into crushed stone. The finish here is long, bold and impressive.

’00 Vérité "Le Désir" Sonoma Merlot Blend
Suggested Retail: $103.99 • PJ’s Price: $91.99 • Clearance Price: $59.97
“Good full ruby-red. Superripe aromas of black fruits, minerals, licorice and roast coffee, with floral, roasted and medicinal elements. Minerally, lush and sweet; dense and very long. A very large-scaled 2000, more filled in than the overwhelming majority of red wines from this vintage.” —IWC 92

’00 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
Suggested Retail: $103.99 • PJ’s Price: $91.99 • Clearance Price: $59.97
“Medium ruby. Cool, somewhat medicinal aromas of blackcurrant, bitter chocolate, licorice, minerals and fresh herbs. Bright and dense but quite closed and tannic today; very much in the style of a Northern Medoc wine.” —IWC 90(+?)
